Steve came to us with 14 years of bike shop experience, and has been at the Wayfarer for years. He does most of our repairs, all done to perfection whether it be an entry level bike or your pride and joy racing bicycle. In his spare time (not much as he has two children) Steve likes to hike with his best friend, Bentley, or work on anything broken.Nobody that we know of is in Steve's league when it comes to mechanical aptitude- not even close.

Richard, a senior at the University of Connecticut, has been with us all five all of his college years. In between poker games and fraternity parties, Richard rides both road and downhill mountain bikes. When he is on-time and sober, he is one of the best salespeople we have ever employed. Everyone likes Dick.

Paul helps us on Saturdays as he is also employed by Pfizer. Even with access to the worlds best drugs, Pfizer cannot help him with his addiction – buying bicycle equipment. Paul “Euro Snob” Yeomans constantly researches the current European racing scene for more stuff to buy.

Chris started with us the summer of 2006, having moved from the Midwest where he worked for a chain of Trek stores. He was a perfect fit from day one.  A recent college graduate, Chris majored in music and plays the saxophone.  For half of his senior year he studied in France. Chris sums it up best: “Besides Fine Arts; drugs and cycling have always been my passions. There couldn’t be a better place to be than the doping capital of the world – France.”
